Default Is this normal

???I just got a 99 gst spyder, my first mods were hard intercooler piping and a greddy types bov, and a kn fillter with a cold air intake pipe. I HAVE NOT TURNED UP MY BOOST AT ALL FROM STOCK. My question is my car is running way to lean at WOT, i also gain 3 psi of boost. Is this normal, and what can i do to cure the problem. ???

Default Re: Is this normal

yeah thats normal....stock your car runs about 13 PSI but the Stock BOV is crap and leeks and your engine typicaly sees 11.5 psi of that. so when you replaced the BOV you gained 1.5 psi or like 10-15 hp.

intake will add 10 hp. AND make your BOV way louder, plus increasing throttle responce.
as for the hard intercolling pipes that should bost your PSI a bit, cuz the woven ones, i don't car what anyong tells you LEEK.

i have a 99 GS-T and i found all this out in the same boat as you
