I was wondering if anyone knows a good engine to put in a 98 eclipse gs. The stock one is a peice of crap. I don't want to spend thousands in mods and only make it to 200hp. If anyone knows of a good engine that will fit without too much work please let me know.

a 6-bolt 1g eclipse/talon/laser motor would be a releivly simple afair, its stronger than teh newr turbo motor, and with a couple mods you can see a 12-second street machine. 400hp is easily attainable also, search the web for DSM sites, you'll find what your looking for
