wait...YOU bought it for YOUR birthday...that doesnt make sense. But anyway, any chick driving a bimmer is hot, especially if it's a manual. And I also love the black wheels with the chrome lips (esp with black cars). Try tirerack.com. You can actually see what they look like on your car. From an aesthetic viewpoint, yeah, bigger is better. But I would put a limit around 17-18. Anything bigger than that and you hinder performance. Also when buying bigger wheels, you need bigger brakes. It's not like your car wont stop but it will certainly take a lot longer and will benifit you if you like your new bimmer.

lol i told the guy that was wanting to find rims for his camaro in the thread below about tirerack forgot to mention it in here. it's definitely a good site to get a visual. but they are lacking some choices.

Pick up a set of 18s, I think anything bigger on the 3 looks like too much. Try Schnitzers if you want something really cool.

Thanks guys im picking them out this weekend because i got into grad school therefore they are sort of a gift someone told me to buy regular rims and get bmw caps on them is that tacky????
