Default BMW 335i sedan: 0-60 in 4.8 seconds

Not bad at all, a lot faster than one would think.

This might lead one to believe the upgrades are minor, but nothing could be farther from the truth. In a newly-published road test, Car and Driver magazine reports achieving a zero to 60 mph time of just 4.8 seconds. That puts the five-seater sedan on par with the current-generation M3 coupe. Reaching 100 mph takes just 11.8 seconds. The 3616-pound four-door achieves these impressive numbers thanks to a twin-turbo inline-six with a claimed output of 300 horsepower. Of course, there is a great deal of speculation that the engine is actually more powerful that BMW says. Recent dynamometer tests of the 335i coupe tend to confirm this theory.

I saw them today... they look better in real life than in pictures. Interior looks OKAY, I would say the E46 interiors look better. The center console is not very attractive.

They are pretty quick, the power is very evident, no turbo lag, and the powerband is very smooth, but it's not an M that's for sure
