![]() not so shure i could just plasma that rust out and put sheet metal there, we'll see ![]() trunk isnt so bad at all, taillight is missing, HA, and we dont have a key for the trunk either. In the background you can see the Achev, and our barns ect. thats our land as far as the eye can see. God i love ND. ![]() im pretty shure that that rad is gonna get replaced. over the past week ive gotten the hood for it all sanded, along with the front end. I sat for hours with the steel wool and polished on the chrome grill so it looks like a million bucks. another stude guy gave me a beat-up front end with the lights and hood latch, ect. that was pretty nice. ![]() here you can see the interior is pretty much gutted. Its very sad for me to say that i might get some front seats from a 97 Honda Civic (can't help it, they are comfortable) friend of mine is most likely getting "RACING SEATS"!! lol door needs adjustment too. ![]() i havent determined rearend gear ratio yet, but i know its gettin a 9", we were at Pete's Truck salvage yesterday to drop off some pop cans and i asked if they had many 9"fords. Turns out they do, only the 4.10 and 3.50 ratios are gone due to the fact many 4x4 guys get to them first. the total length from one fender to the other is 5' 8", but the leaf springs are really close to the fenders, eliminating any possible way of puttin in big rims without modifications. Someone told me that a Ford Explorer is a direct fit, but ill have to check. I think its going to have a 350 in it, havent decided the transmission yet, 3 speed, 4 speed, or if i really wanted to , an LS-1 engine and a six speed if i wanted it to be more of a street car for fuel reasons. im gonna pick a color from my dads half empty paint cans, hes got like 30 different colors, but im thinkin a Metallic Blue/old ford pickup color. I got the House of Kolor book out and found a sweet Cobalt Blue kandy over Quicksilver metallic, but my dad said, "im not gonna paint a car with a billion coats of paint" so that ended that. for now, im just gonna sand a while, get some body parts, interior, polish up the trim, and wait to go to a giant salvage yard and get my ls-1 (pff, yeah right) Wish me luck!
