The amount of reduction of bangle's "flame" inspired design concept for the Z4 is perfect. Simplifying the Z's lines makes the car what it should have been from the start...but perhaps the over-the-top initial design will make the world appreciate this new car that much more. it generates a sigh of relief.

the 3-series...what do we say here? the trunk line is rather odd...rather Alfa Romeo Spyder like...I rather like it. the break in continuity is intriguing, and quite enticing. in a way, it takes the car off its haunches, something of a BMW trademark that even Bangle couldn't do away with. it makes the car look lighter weight, as the nose still makes you think the rear of the car is holding the mass, but when your eyes arrive, it's not there.
