it's the hot-rodders thing to do... maybe a pair of turbos but you'ld be losing the inner fenders or greatly reducing their size...

I wouldn't bother modifying that motor beyond the basic bolt-ons and computer tuning. The transmission isn't built to take the punch of twin turbos. I can't imagine it being cheap to beef up either as it is one of the most sophisticated on the market.
A nice swap into a 3-series would kick ass if it would fit. |

I understand dude! you might have to build a custom frontclip to use your fenders and hood and cram that monster under there... but it'd be worth it
