Default 1990 Astro Van - AWD?

I just inherited an 1990 Astro Van from my Grandfather and I'm trying to figure out if it is 2WD or AWD...any place on the vehicle that would tell me that? I checked in the book and can't find anything definitive and my grandfather is unavailable.

Potentially asinine question so thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure it would say in the manual, as well, did they not have external decals with "AWD" on them? I thought for sure the Safari's and Astro's did....

Just hop underneath it and look for yourself, is there both a front and rear diff? If not, it's only 2WD...

You could always just run the VIN by a dealership to find out.
