i already gave you 12 suggestions.

if you don't like any of those, then you would probably be better off with a Honda Accord.

Well you said you like hatches, and you're looking for an import, so try a honda hatchback. This one:

has absolutely no problem beating the hell out of anything on the street, and a bunch of stuff on the track. Its naturally aspirated, with some internals done to the motor. Of course its a swap, although I cant remember whether its a b18 or b20.

If it hasn't become obvious, this forum is not import-friendly. As a guy that has nothing but V8 American vehicles in the driveway I'll be the first one to tell you that if you do a 4 cylinder right you have every opportunity to make more HP with what you have related to engine size. With that said, there's also no replacement for displacement. 300 or so HP out of a 4cylinder is friggin great...and stock for a V8...but the 4 cylinder will beat the hell out of a stock V8 at 300+hp.

I'll probably get flamed too...but who cares. You learn to ignore the douche bags.

Go right ahead and be a ricer... who cares.

Besides, that Civic couldn't beat any car I have ever owned on the street or the strip. This guy is dillusional.

how does a naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder "beat the hell out of anything on the street"?
