Unhappy Getting another car...

So, up until recently, I drove a nearly mint-condition '06 Honda Element. I absolutely loved that car. Long story short, I got hit by someone running a red light, and the insurance company cut us a check and totaled the car, leaving me in the market for a new set of wheels.

I'm Looking For:
-A used car
-Something that gets good gas mileage
-Something that can comfortably seat 4
-Something small-ish to midsize; parking can be tight at college
-Preferably not a sedan. I'd like something that looks nice/funky and is easy to find in a parking lot... think something like a Honda Element, Mitsubishi Eclipse,Toyota Matrix, FJ Cruiser, or a Hyundai Tiburon (a few of my favorite-looking cars)
-An automatic!! Driving a manual is not a good idea for me

About Me:
-I am female
-I'm 16
-I am 6'2" (meaning that as much as I love how they look, I can't fit into something the size of a Tiburon)
-From what I can figure, I have somewhere in the $4.5k-$6k range to spend on a car
-I live in the Columbus, OH area

I guess I'm kind of asking a lot, but any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

lmao 1200 just shits on everyone and its hillarious.. Get what you like most, and can afford. I have a friend that has the Scion xB and loves it. Also for a being a box with no aerodynamics at all it has a little bit of get up and go

Im sorry about you living in Ohio...

But other than that, I would agree with the xb. It would be good for what you need, and being 6'2", well, Ive never had that problem lol.

Though, my old friend in high school was 6'7", ended up getting a WV bug, 2004 I think, he said he had more room in that thing than any other car. It was fun to see him get out of it though.

get a third gen camaro/firebird

Always reputed for being roomiest cockpits ever! And for the price your insurance company has given you - you could find a nice low mileage 3rd gen!

Oh well - no one ever does - Have you looked at Subarus at all? A WRX although a sedan are pretty unique and look pretty cool and are all-around comfortable to be in and would be unparalleled in their winter ability.

Or maybe a Subaru SVX - Luxury coupes with tons of room, sooo many options, GREAT AWD, and extremely rare imo.
a 97 svx - I <3 them
