2002 Daewoo Nubira CDX starting problems? CPS maybe?

Hello-
I just got a 2002 Nubira CDX wagon on trade and when I test drove the thing it started up fine and quick. Then every subsequent time I started it, it turned over a little longer and there was a delay in the engine catching and starting. Now sometimes it takes me like 10-15 tries to get the car started. Other times it runs fine. I did some research and saw that there was a recall for crankshaft position sensors failing. Could this be causing the problem? Once the car starts it runs smooth and fine, just having trouble starting the damn thing. Let me know what you think, and THANKS!!

When that happened to my wife's car, it just ran slightly rough, but started just fine. I'd check the fuel pump.

when the cps failed?

so it would more likely be a fuel pump issue? The guy that I took it to said he thought it was the CPS,i am taking it in to have a new
CPS put in tomorrow.. I will tell him to check the fuel pump too, thanks

No problem. Also, it wouldn't hurt to check the front lower control arms, they're as fragile as glass and need to be replaced often. If you drive it nice, however, you may never need to touch them.
