My car only moves when the transmission is in reverse, but not in the other gears, like 1, 2, etc.... I know most transmission failures usually start with the reverse going out, so maybe it still has hope? And when it's shifted to any gear, even the forward gears, the car and the engine kind of jump like something's happening, but the wheels stay put. I think it's a 3 speed, and the car only moves when in reverse. I heard it's burnt, but slightly functions....
    Any help????

Sounds like a gasket failure, that isn't pressurizing the correct areas of the forward gears.

Search the board for Mario777 and her transmission issues, sounds very similar. Her reverse gear is all that would function when the gasket failed in the valve body.

Maybe someone with more transmission experience can help.
