    Default 2000 SL2 Missfire – 05-25-2011, 04:30 PM
    Been a while since I've been on cf.

    A couple months ago my SL2 started to misfire when accelerating and driving somewhat sluggish. When giving it full throttle it won't misfire but the performance is very poor.

    Spark plugs and wires seem good and I just changed fuel filter. Didn't seem to make much difference. I'm about to get the codes read, just wondering if anyone has any ideas?

    There weren't any codes, guess they cleared when disconnecting the battery.

    I should mention that the car only has this problem when it gets to operating temperature. Car recently had valve cover gasket and intake manifold replaced.
