    Hi Mike

    Have you ever wondered why some people get involved in online forums while others simply lurk and consume the information without posting?

    I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Missouri. I am writing a dissertation on online forums.

    Car Forums is perfect for my research question. I would like to survey your forum members and the lurkers who may use the forum but have not registered. This would be an opt in opportunity for them (they would access a link, I never email your users) and they would be incentivized to complete the survey.

    I will also pay you $50 or make a donation to the forum in this amount if I can get a significant number of responses.
