The CF 2006 C6 Corvette was purchased on November 5th, 2005. This is one of the most amazing vehicles I've ever had the chance to drive. It literally has everything you could ever want in a sports car. The way it handles and brakes is amazing, and the baseline power you get is incredible. Hands down this car is our favorite CF project, and should put down some nice track times and dyno numbers as we start to modify it.
Scheduled Events - 2006:
Las Vegas Motor Speedway | January 27th 2006
Las Vegas Motor Speedway | February 10th 2006

| SOLD :(
We regret to inform you that we decided to sell the CF Vette to pursue other avenues. The main focus will now be on the CF RX-7 and we will probably be adding Mario777's WRX to the list of CF project vehicles. Thanks to everyone who has followed this little blog and sent us emails and comments.

| We finally found the time to install the SLP Exhaust and Intake on the CF Vette.
This was made possible by Todd @ PoweredParts.com.... your #1 source for SLP parts.
Here are some pictures from both installs, and a link to the sound clip video below:

| The CF Vette made its first track appearance today. We were a bit dissapointed with the times, as there were two other 06 C6 Automatic Vettes there that were consistently running 13.0-13.1 @ 108 MPH, however the CF Vette's best time was 13.6 @ 104. To make sure it wasn't driver error, we let one of the other Corvette owners take the CF Vette for a rip down the track, and that was the best he could pull off as well. He also informed us that his Vette put down 337 HP on the dyno, where the CF Vette only put down 320. We are assuming this is due to the break in period GM places on the vehicle's computer, since the CF Vette only has 1200 miles on it and the other two had well over 3,000. We are going to wait to put the modifications we listed below on the Vette and run it one more time stock with a bit more mileage, and see if there is a difference. We did notice on the Dyno that the a/f ratio in the upper RPMs was extremely rich, and that seemed to be where we were losing time in the 1/4 mile.

| Today we ordered some new toys for the Vette. They have yet to be installed, but still worthy of an update. We should hav them in place in the next couple of weeks. Once they are in place we will be heading back to the Dyno again. For exhaust, we decided to go with the SLP "PowerFlo" Exhaust System w/Trapezoidal Tips. The intake is also from SLP, the SLP "Blackwing" cold air intake for the LS2. These parts were from the from the best SLP dealer around, PoweredParts.com!
