i have a 1994 galant 2.4 and i have a radiator overheating but i also noticed my fan is not coming on what could be wrong? and also it is smoking under the radiator cap... what is going on?

See if the fan works first

it could be the fan motor , check for a good connection , could be a temp sensor , make sure you have proper amount of coolant , smoke or steam under cap ? steam is normal , water pump problem ? head ? good luck
