I have a 04 endeavor and the parking brake\emergency brake has worn out. With it on the car still moves. I was curious to how much it would cost to repair this on my model? Also the regular brakes seem squishy, but only slightly. The ebrake failure is due to my father and I leaving it on while driving, this hasn't happened a lot but still, once in a great while we forget.... Would this be repairable at home?

Also another question, the rims have some scratches on them and in some areas they are missing paint where it wore off. Should I be concerned, or is it ok? The suv has 90k miles on it (just passed it!)

It did recently have an oil and air filter change.

here's a tip, just leave the e-brake off.
