There's nothing wrong with import tunING. I, for one, drive a 2002 WRX that I would love to build up, but can't because I'm selling it. Import tunERS are where the problem lies. 95% of people with an Eclipse, Civic, Prelude, insert other over-riced car here think there cars are the end all be all of performance just because they are running 15 second 1/4 miles and know nothing of real performance.

I am not an import tuner, as I love cars of many different nationalities, including ones made right here in the good ol' U S of A.

It depends on what 2nd gen you want. If you want a tuner car and go out and get the non turbo version than no it would not be worth it. But if you got the GST or the GSX than yes. Because that is a tuner car which is what you're looking for correct?

the car is ok for a daily but for ANYTHING else its a fail. You want something just more fun to drive without mods, look for something with more power. I for one am talking to a guy about buying a 2000 Grand Prix GTP. Its not a racecar, nor a eco car. But, it will be a nice daily that might not have great MPG, but I hate cars that feel like a slug and cant get to even highway speed very quick.

You say you like the 2G, well congrats, go get one. Finding a stock one is hard if its a GSX or GST. Also, I have worked on 2Gs, the 7 bolt engine cant take very much. Any mod you do, you SHOULD tune the engine after since its turbocharged and your mods can **** the car up even tho it might be something simple. Also, they arent cheap to build up, and they are known to break down a lot. I also like the 2G eclipse and can afford one, but I like a Camaro better and a V8 will hold the power much better and LONGER.
