all right the good news is i have a turbo and almost the rest of the kit, but the thing of it is...
is i wondering if the 420a stock engine can handle it. plus the car is auto, still havent switched it to stick

the motor will handle it. hate to tell you but you cant just "Switch it to manual", theres a good amount of work to be done and if you don't know everything it entails then i wouldn't even think about it. auto trans will handle it, i've seen it done several times.

yeah but wouldnt i have to tone it waaaaaaay down to like 6 psi

The 420A is completely unfamiliary to me. If this guy put on a turbo kit himself, he will be able to put in a Manual.

i said it COULD, thats the key word, and you could do 8 to 10 psi roughly. but i still wouldn't push for 12 psi without some better internals. thats just me tho. i'm not saying it can't be pushed to 12 psi, i'm just saying i wouldn't without upgrade.

in all reality, you'd be better off with a GSX motor and trans because the GSX motor is already turbocharged. i mean if i was putting that much money in it i'd do it right

Any car can handle a turbo, that's the short answer. Whether it will handle a certain boost is another.

or you can do the smart thing and buy the car engineered for a turbo, instead of pretending you can do the same without the millions of dollars the engineers spent on making the turbo car reliable.

well everything under the hood is stock cept the intake but that dosent matter one bit.
its a stock auto tranny and stock everything.

I have seen some sick 420a engines. Most kits on stock blocks are around 6psi until they build it up. switching to a stick should of been your first "mod" before the turbo. Or, doing a 6 bolt swap with a full GSX convert.
