The Weapn R Intake Systems is suppost to "replace the complete rubber intake track from the throttle body and the factory air filter box assembly (for vehicles without air flow meters)" But will It work for my 90 Eclipse GS that has the air flow meter? If it dosent what air intake system would?

well if it says for cars without MAF sensors and your car has one then obviosly its not for your car, find one that is compatable with your car

aem or injen make intakes for about everything on the road.

yea other forums ive been on threads start out with a good topic but some ppl come in with their idiotic opnions just to start stuff and pretty soon every thread becomes an import vs. domestice argument in some form or another, ppl should b alowed to say what they want but when ppl say stuff just to get a rise out of ppl it makes me mad and generaly turns the forum to crap. another forum i used to post on was ww.sromagazine.com its an online magazine that was pretty informative and civil but it turned to crap the more ppl that signed on

yeah, i used to post all over the place and slowly every forum i was on went to hell. this one has stood the test of time. allthough those damn canadans about did me in.LOL

i respect michael, and he is the best driver in the world. i'd say in probly all motor sports, but i'm not that big of a fan...i don't know why..i guess cause so many people jump on that band wagon. and i like to montoyas driving syle and his ability to qualify very very fast.

nascar is all about driving in a pack...its ok i guess, but i've drove a nascar (richard petty driving experience) and i have to say, i was less than a second off the pole qualifying time from the race at that track....and i was only in the car for a couple hours....so as far as driving in a circle, once you get the hang of it, its easy. the traffic...i don't know...just not into it.  now nascar at watkins glen is kinda cool... 8)

i konw i konw, its an oval and some tracks have declining radious turns and the banks arn't as steep and bla bla bla, ITS A CIRCLE and when you call half an arch a turn..i meen. come on.  i would be impressed with nascar if theytook away the spotters and the radio and did it old school with pit boards. then the driver would have to have some balls and some skills. the way it is now they get in the car and drive in a cirlce. guys up on towers tell them threw the radio if they are close to anyone so they don't even have to look for traffic or plan there passes. other people tell them what to do. LOL i think if was a smaller guy i could win a nascar race. my weight is a big disadvantage. plus in nascar all the cars are the freaking same. i meen whats the point in having differant manufacures even make the cars. LOL and the cars dont even go that fast in there little freaking circle. oh yeah, and i watch nascar. LOL just as far as motor sports go nascar is about the same as drag racing, anyone can do it.

and i've been to many nascar races. father in law is a huge fan. luxerary box at bristal, season pass at richmond and KC. so in yo face. and if i was the same weight as those guys i think i could hold my own. finish middle of the pack.

but this argument has run its course. its all about what you like.

i agree, they do have great mechanics, i'd like to see a nascar go to a single lug rim. LOL that would make htere pit stops faster. to bad its against the rules. remember when ford brought out there new car, nascar actaully made rules just to slow t down insteadof letting other cars copy and get faster. how lame is taht.

i guess its all about tradition.  Even though they r what 5 or 6 seconds faster than they used to be. darrell Waltrip pays 500 bux out of his pocket to any team who can get a stop off in under either 12 or 13 sec. so I guess thats why they slowed them down old DW was going broke.

i just don't see making cars slower, that is one of the reasons i stopped watching nascar. i meen if the fords had that much better of a car, why not just make the rest of nascar catch them and everyone gets faster and faster. isn't that the idea of racing, to go FAST. its like telling the strongest linebacker in the NFL to stop lifting weights because he's to strong the competition doesn't stand a chance. LOL

in the 70's the cars where getting too fast too thats why they started using restricter plates, they didnt want the cars going over 200mph for safty reasons

I totally agree that the officials are a bunch of pvssies, ever since Dale died they have came our w/ tons of crap  such as the Hans device have u ever seen one of them thangs??? It would take me an hour to get hooked up.  They are thinking of putting a roof hatch for emergencey exit b/c the crash that jamie McMurry got into the other day .  Just another exit.  But if the did that the car would only have 1 roof flap to stop it from rolling.     anyways dale Jr. got 3rd this weekend whoo hoo, he is like 234 back from points lead next to Kenseth.  Gordon is 3rd booo

i think that if they are gonna limit the technology on the cars, toslow them down, and make them use resricter plates to slow the cars down, they should take away the spotters and radios, make them use old school pit boards, and make the drivers drive.

thatll be kinda hard when they cant turn their head but a little over an inch each way.  Pit boards..... hmmm  .  maybe

see, i don't see tha point. i meen f1 cars have spotters, but there are alot of rules htere to. and f1 cars are going a hella of alot faster...if you are gonna slwo the cars down, the drivers should have to drive.

F1  cars are also more safe.

yeah, becouse of the roof and open wheel design. not to mention no winshield or roll cage.
