Actually, my co-worker Jason has one of these cars. He likes it, except for two things. The car payments, and the heat-soak. He's got a piggy-back and is cranking 580 RWHP. It's pretty quick, and almost keeps up with my buddy's CTS-V, but after a while, it kinda loses its edge. He gets some pretty severe knock.

But - yeah - he loves his. I've ridden in it. I don't see the draw. To each their own, but I'd prefer the M3. I'm just a performance-oriented mo-fo.

This is the reason why I always include a couple of pictures with my username showing someplace inside the car. I guess it's natural for some people to ask for proof of ownership, especially if it's a type of high-end vehicle (like a Lambo or Ferrari, for example).
This happened to me at some other forum and I hated my integrity being called into question so I provided some proof and that was that.
Personally, I feel it shouldn't be a requirement but if members want to avoid situations like this, they might want to include at least 1 picture with their username on it.

It is far to easy and happens far too often that some kid thinks it would be cool to play that they own something they don't. Pictures are easy to come by, post up on some forum, and call your own. If you truely own the vehicle, and want others to believe you, it is very simple to post pictures with your user name posted somewhere on or in the car. It is up to you, but I sure don't believe it until I see some sort of proof that the pictures were not just heisted of the internet.

He's done it. Twice. And BMW won't cover the turbos. They'll cover the rest of the engine, though.

When the turbos fry, they set a flag in the ECU, snagging a log of the turbo's output pressure at time of failure. And you were claiming 11's on a piggyback. The only way a 3300 pound car hits 11's is with 430+ RWHP.
