Hey
A few days ago my "Service Vehicle Soon" light came on. I knew I was close to needing an oil change, so I changed the oil, oil filter, and spark plugs. The light remained on. I drove the vehicle for about an hour and the light went off. Is there a chance the plugs and oil were the key? Or does the light go off from time to time kind of like the "Change Oil" light does? Should I cancell my appointment with the mechanic?
According to AutoZone's free diagnostic they said I have one of the following:
1. Purge or vent solenoids defective
2. Check connector and wiring
3. Fuel saturated vapor canister
4. Failed EVAP vent solenoid
PS: I drive a 2000 Chevy Camaro V6.
