i would get an aftermarket radiator designed for your truck. one that is intended for higher performance applications. numerous parts store carry aftermarket radiator fans and shrouds, most of which come with a switch. i would run it on a temperature switch so you dont forget to turn it on/off.

Well you're coolin' the engine, not the bodywork around it...

I bought from Summit Racing equipment an aluminum two row radiator that was listed for a Chevrolet engine, and installed it in my Mopar. The only thing you need to know is the waterpump outlet (driver or passenger side),the thermostat inlet...same thing, which side, and the physical dimensions you have to work with as far as the opening.Simply measure the radiator opening and buy one that fits with the correctly placed inlets and outlets. The one i bought was manufactured for Summit by Northern Manufacturing,is ALL aluminum,as in no epoxies like Griffins, which cannot be TIG welded if necessary, and has 2 cores....1" each. The radiator i bought was just under $200,WAY cheaper than BeCool, and it cools a 450 hp smallblock with 3 electric fans,1 16" puller and two 10" pushers.

there is an aluminum corvette radiator that might work, high flow water pump and duel electric fans over 1500 CFM's if they fit pulling that should help
