well i was on my way home and i decided to punch the gas just for fun since was a straight flat part of a road, i didn't get up to high since you never know what could pop out of no where(i don't race though) and my friend said he saw some smoke come out of the exhaust pipes, not much but a little. I probably jumped from around 1500 rpms to about 3000, since it's an auto. the oil stick shows it has plenty, so i was wondering what could make this happen.

Thanks, Tim

P.S. it doesn't do it during normal acceleration.

if your camaro isn't/hasn't overheated you probably have nothing to work about.

Nothing to worry about. If the engine is driven easy for long periods of time, and then you hammer down on it,it is normal for a little smoke to come out,as hard throttle accelleration will clean the carbon off the tops of the pistons and the combustion chambers in the heads.
