i have a 96 chevy camaro and from what im told the window regulator went bad again. the window rolls up and down fine, but the window slides back and forth when rolled up, causing it to get caught up when rolling up. does anyone know were i can buy a 96 camaro regulator for the driver side, and is it an easy fix, or do i need special tools. and would it be cheaper to just take it to someone to fix it, last time it cost a little more the 400 bones for them to fix it and i dont feel like spending it again.

You could buy a whole door and then some at a salvage yard for that kind of cash. Its not that hard of a repair just be patient and buy a Chilton's manual.
