I'm helping my friend out with a marketing project for school. He's trying to figure out what specific features Chevy cars and trucks have that make them unique or original. By that, I mean anything from design to the engine to the On-Star service.

I'm sure he has a big list compiled already, but I thought I'd see if you guys could contribute at all. Specifically, he's looking for original things on the 2008 or 2009 models of:

-Aveo
-Cobalt
-Malibu
-Equinox
-Trailblazer
-Colorado
-Silverado

Any help would be fantastic. Hopefully I'm posting this in the right place, I'm kind of new here. :)

The new silverado's have a rack and pinion steering package that no other truck has on the market.

the 170 degree doors on the ext cabs. Most powerful V8 engines in their class (trucks) and best fullsize fuel econ on the gas V8's

The aftermarket for Chevy has got to be the largest since all the trucks/SUVs/ Corvettes/Camaros all have basically the same engine.

If driven right they do get some great gas mileage.. I can get 22-23mpg on the interstate in my truck.

Their focus on gas mileage. They're making lots of hybrids and an eletric soon. They're keeping up with the trendiness of being "green".

Gm has the best line up since the early 70's. They have done a great job with every new model. The fit and finish on any GM product is leaps and bounds above the rest IMHO. There isnt a Truck on the market that is better than the new GMC or Chevy. Outstanding job GM.

nothing really, the only unique, exclucive, and revolutionary chevy is the volt. everything else is a remake, upgrade..ect.

170* door, and rack and pinion, all aren,t uniqe nor exclusive, nissan titan has all that.

edit; what is kinda unique, is chevy express cargo van with driver side cargo door, no other full size van has it. that is the reason it is very popular with conversion van manufacturers,

When the word Chevy comes to mind,for me,their biggest claim to fame has to be the small block chevy,right?I mean in it's history,it has to be the single biggest accomplishment,after all,it's still around as the ultimate,big,smallblock,in the ZO6 Vette,427 cubic inches (drag racers been doing this for years and years) and 500 horsepower.
