Ok so im lookin @ buying a 1987 camaro. I am not gonna lie. I do not know much about the mechanics of a car. I was just wondering wat engine, or anythin like that, upgrade will boost my over hp the most for the money. After the purchase ill have about 800 or so to play around with. Wat do you guys recommend for upgrades? Everythin under the hood on the car is stock.

Cold air intake, exhaust, and some injector cleaner due to the age of the engine

make sure it's in good running order before adding upgrades. tune it up.

then save up for gears or exhaust, and a good set of heads + cam.
