I'm not an expert on Chevy's,but you will need a flywheel that matches your 350 engine, and also have the same tooth count on the ring gear for the starter.Chevy's were available with 2 different diameter and tooth count flywheels and flexplates. The bellhousing from the 6 cylinder won't bolt up,you need a smallblock /\ inverted V bellhousing and corresponding throwout bearing and fork. You really need a Chevy expert to tell you if the 3 speed will work, spline count of the clutch and depth of the input shaft.3/4 ton,you would do well to try and identify the exact model of trans in your truck,OR go to a parts store, have them look up a clutch and pressure plate for your 6cyl./3 speed, write down the number, then look up a clutch and pressure plate for your same truck,77 Scotsdale, except with a 350 engine, and see if that part number is different.Would be better to look up just the clutch disk specifically if possible.
