OK, so here's the scenario.

Someone hands you $100,000 dollars to build a Z06 with. What would you do? Buy a used 02-04 Z06 for ~$30g's and dump the other $70g in the engine and suspension or buy a 06-08 Z06 and spend from $50-$25g's on it?

Why would you do one over the other?

I'd buy the $30k Z06 and get the remaining $70k on a Wal-Mart gift card.

I would take that 100g's buy a used c5 rip out that heavy ass v8 and drop in a propper running 4 banger throw on a nice body kit add some neons and a big ass "JDM" sticker and than LMAO! HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA! :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: Or just buy a c6 and be done with it:biggrin:

My opinion still stands. There's a point where throwing money at a car no longer makes it go faster. There's an upper limit of street performance for every car that the C6 Z06 could find easily with 15k, let alone 30. Let's not forget, the lighter body, the improved structural rigidity, slightly better aerodynamics, basically everything you can get with the C6 that you can't hope for in the C5.

Plus, the C6 Z looks better, IMO. Well, now I know what to do if I ever land on that kind of money. I probably would buy the C6 Z anyway because it would be new, and I would not have to worry about what someone else may have done to **** up anything.
