x2. It'd be cheaper and more reliable to buy a turbo dsm then to turbo yours. But if you want to try it...go ahead. I just hope you have another daily driver available...just in case. hahaha

Depending on what you're looking for as an end result will gauge your best course of action.

There are a few success stories with Turbo'd 420As, but be prepared to spend thousands to get that engine to make the same power as a 4G63T does stock (140HP > 195HP = 55HP :O ).

For the amount of money your going to end up spending making that 420A as fast as a turbo 4g63, you could buy the actual turbo vehicle. A really good condition TSI $3500 probably cheaper if you really look.

haha. hey dumbass, the 4g63 is a DSM. thats half chrysler, half mistu.

ive seen some very nice 420a turbo setups that held up to about 200hp nicely. would i do it? no. save up, build a dsm, and drop it in.

actually im not a dumbass everyone on here is telling the OP that he has a 402a. I know that they are half chrysler. and yes i have seen some awesome 402a setups. But the OP's cars has a 4G63 engine, so its easier and cheaper to turbo than the 402a and 4G64.

how old did you say you were again???

Way to quote half the equation

140 > 195 = 55HP (for those younger than 30.. going from 140 to 195 is 55HP)

That's ALOT to make up on a high compression N/T 4cyl engine even with a
turbo.
