View Full Version : is it possible to change an electric fan to a regular fan?

i got an 91 camaro and i wanna change the electric fan to an regular one that mounts on the pulley, is there enough room? its running a 350 tbi

I'm with Blah. The electric fan is far more efficient, pulling the parasitic loss off of the engine and making the fan only run when absolutely needed, or you can install a switch to run it all the time to make the car run cooler.

basically, the engine driven fan is a waste of time, you see all new trucks go away from it, electric fans are- lighter, more accurate, and smaller, and you cant control them with a scan tool, or basically any way that you want. easier to work on, smaller engine shroud, and lots more room in the engine bay.
