hey i just gom my 350 out of an 70s GM pickup but it's not the engine that came with the truck. i belive it's a target master engine cuase the block is painted blue and the vaulve covers, and timing chain cover are orange( which is typical of a replacement engine, u have to use ur old covers) and i want to know everything i can about the engine but i can find any of the codes anywhere: the codes stamped into the block infront of the left head are 111101972 , and K09 267 CGC i think, but i'll check agian l8r. any help??

There is a company called hollander that makes a book with all of the codes and applications, if it is a target motor then the code means nothing, they would just throw in whatever was around. If it is a target then the block code might mean nothing.
