Usually you find the temp sensor on the engine itself, but in '91 they may have put it on the radiator. If it seems that there is a wire not connected where it should be, I would check under the car for a loose wire and see if you think it would be it... Before connecting it, though, I would test any wires for power... If you have a testlight, just check the wire with the car on "on" BUT NOT RUNNING! If you don't get a light on then take the wire and ground it out, see if the gauge changes when you do, if it does this is the correct wire.. If you find it doesn't change the gauge, then you may need to look elsewhere.

Final comment, if you don't feel confident about doing any of these, the by all means DON'T. Wiring can be entertaining to work on, and I have found it to be fun sometimes, but if you aren't aware of what you are doing you could really screw things up... Blown fuses and fried wires aren't any fun on your car....

The problem with camaros is that everyone and their brother has worked on them. I have no idea why but camaros are some of the most hacked up butchered cars i have ever had the displeasure of working on. That being said, you need to find out why it is unplugged. Was it done on purpose, or did a bad motor mount pull on the harness and yank it out of the radiator, or did someone try to trick the engine into thinking its cold to dump more fuel. If they did that, is it because they want more HP? Or is there a fuel issue?
