I am looking for a Crank Angle Sensor for my GT. I got a mechanic who says the one I have is bad, and that is why it shuts off on me from time to time and wont turn on until it cools. Has anyone had any similar problem? Anyone have one for sale?

yes, the check engine light is on.

bring it to autozone and have them check it for free. write down the code, post it up here and ill tell you what it is.

Okay...so I changed my Crank Angle Sensor, and now it still does the same thing. Turns off, but then shuts consistently. I mean, i drove home, and it stopped 4 times. Turned off, locked up, and I had tro put in nuetral and try to find a safe spot. I try to start the car, desperately, but it just cranks and no ignition. sometimes I wait 20 seconds, or sometime 20 mins before it starts up again. The sport light is blinking...could that be the cause to this madness? Anyone? Please :57:

I havent checked the idle motor though. Battery has more than enough charge. and I noticed the idle half way between 0-1000 RPM's. Any ideas as to what I should try next?
