Aston Martin V12 Vanquish - loosers choice.
Dave is a looser.His boyfriend has left him after his "tiny" sexual failure.
Dave's favourite singer is David Haselhoff.He was assistent manager of New Kids on The Block ghettorock group.
And he owns Aston Martin. You know, i am a very tolerant person. I have no prejudices.
But you must admit that Dave is total looser. I understand that person with so yawing personality could
be unpredictable but in Dave's case it went too far...
If somebody has a lot of money and wants a image making car goes for Passat, who needs pure luxury goes for Superb,
who searches for ultimate sportscar choose Octavia RS. Dave not. From many strange reasons (too much california sun maybe) Dave wanted to stay "british"(no matter he's half-paki) .The result is that he has irationally spend for over 90.000 dollars for this nasty steroidfrog car.
The design - well designers were trying their best, but still failed. Implementation of VW new beatle headlamps was maybe good idea but the result is complete disaster.
Proportions of the car are completely unbalanced, although the designers were trying to copy all the best from the VW Corrado design jewel.
The rear lights are unsuccessful copy of Vauxhall Calibra. Maybe it's british way to do cars, but for us (who are keen in 100% quality) it's simply not enough. It's disaster.
Attractive only from 500ft distance in heavy london rain.
The interior is perversity itself.
The desire for "luxury look" is visible everywhere but the result is complete chaos.
Seats are not just uncomfortable, they has some kind of filthy look - god bless my hi-tech alcantara in Octavia RS.
Radio and air condition buttons made from quality-like glass reminds me my old AEG microvawe owen more than"supercar".
This interior is good enough only for the cave lizard on the crack or similar life form. Not for human being with self-respect.
The engine - the idea was not so bad, AM engineers took old Vauxhall Vectra 4 cylinder engine and make some improvements.
The result is 12 cylinder engine with 360bhp. That doesn't sounds so bad. It has even more power than Octavia II RS and that IS a true supercar without doubt!
But thanks to the poor completation level (typically british reliability), idiot steering and futile design is this car barely keeping up with older TDi 66kW Octavia Tour... The Torque is almost the same.
The car is so unstable,the seats so shallow that you often use a handbrake to just keep yourself in the car...
And if we mention together :
lack of torque in lower rpm, big steering and gearbox allowances, train-like brakes, high fuel consumption, and ugly design we could say that there are far better ways how to spend 90.000 bucks!
Dave is idiot. If i were him i will buy a Golf GTI and make a hot all night-lasting orgy with all members of Village People.
But life is a fight. Dave will recognize his fault soon. I believe in it.
