ive tried everythign i can think of the get that ****in belt to stop squealing nothing works. well it ill work for the first day then the next day i go to start it it goes squealin again. my question is could the power steering pump be bad or belt is slipping on that? bc it goes away when i turn turn the wheel left&right and then slowly comes back

check your fluid level in the pump. if its low, put some lucas power steering fluid in it, turn the wheel, and go from there.
also, pick up a can of belt conditioner and try that.
ooh, almost forgot. while the car is running, spray the belt with WD-40. if the squeal stops, its the belt. if it doesnt, its something else.

to tell you the truth ive tried both the belt dressing and wd-40
i put on the wd-40 went away, minute later it was back
the belt dressing worked the same way.
it also seems that my power steering fluid reservoir had way too much fluid in it, so i siphoned just a little out
lol once i drive my blazer for about 2 miles the squeal goes away completely. maybe a warming problem wit the belt?
