i was driving to my workplace just to pick up last weeks pay not to work fortunately and i was heading back when i saw a car (88 grand marquis) that would be a good car for my bro, well i wasnt paying attention to the road so i veered a lil bit into the other lane the lady in a cutlass behind me honked her horn then passed me, well when she got in front of me and drove slow and that pissed me off(im in a bad mood already if you didnt know) so i started reving my engine and with the flowmaster she looked back and the face she gave me was priceless, well i passed her and left her. meanwhile i reved my engine again after i passed her, and there was a 92 blazer and the lane beside me that had part of its quarter missing and was running open headers, after he heard rev he reved, then i reved back, and what do you know? we hit a red light. so were both ready to launch and i remembered yeah its a hemi talking bout something called brake boost so i did it, and launched and kicked his arse off the line and by the time we hit the next bridge which is 1/2 mile away light to bridge i beat him by 4 lengths.

nice kill.
on to other matters...
umm, does your blazer have a turbo- or supercharger? if not, you didn't brake boost.
you can't, at all, unless you have forced induction.
if you held the brake with your left foot, while revving with your right, and let off the brake at the light, that's called "brake-torquing". :)
automatics are normally launched from a dig using this method, and they tend to be modded: higher stall converter, etc.
on most stock automatics, brake-torquing is an effective way to kill your transmission a little at a time...
just wanted to clear that up:D

no comment. Not to be an ass but your mom died yesterday and your online talking about the racing you did? Maybe it's just me but when my mom died I was in tears for a week and couldn't drive...Shit I couldn't do a lot of things nor did I care the day after my mom died.......
