A little over 2 years ago I bought a 99 Deville for $7k from a dealer.. i have put about $5k worth of money into it repairing and replacing parts and now the head gasket is leaking coolant. I still owe $3.5k and just want to get rid of it, but i want to buy a cheap car for under $1k.. is there ANYTHING i can do to get rid of this car??? i figure i have at least pay the loan then try to get rid of it for next to nothing.

Have it repaired, THEN sell it. You'll get more money for a functioning car than you would for one with a blown head gasket. Unless they didnt know about it. Then just put out lots of ads. Its usually a good investment to charge a good price (for you) for the car and then spend more money advertising it in multiple locations. Local newspaper, autotrader, etc.
