when I decelerate from high speeds sometimes my tranny seems like it is in neutral when I get back on the gas, it doesnt always do it but enough to annoy me, when it does it I pop it into neutral and back to drive it is like it never happened, is this possibly a tcu or ecu issue? please help and thanks.

So when you decelerate and then put your foot on the gas, the revs go up or it just doesnt accelerate???

i have a 95' and my car does the exact same thing.. it will rev up really high and stay at a steady like... 15-20 mph and wont stop doing that til i brake completely and then accelerate again.. it didnt start doing it though until after i got my timing belt changed :l the only thing people keep telling me to check about that is the fuel pump and injector and what not...

the engine revs it like the transmision is in neutral, its not a slipping feeling, its like it missed the shift.
