i have a 89 brougham and my wipers will not go off no matter wat i do..
right now i have no choice but to take the wiper fuse out. But when i put the fuse back in the wipers go on and wont go off...anyone kno how i could fix this????

Probably need to fix/replace the switch in the steering column because thats what controls on/off/intermittency (sp?)

my 62 cadillac did that and it had nothing to do with the switch.....it was a problem with the motor.....there are contacts in the motor that tell the motor to turn off when the wipers reach the "park" position....that may be your problem........good luck.
