hear there are alot of trani problems...too bad I already bought one. 6 months later I notice that the 2st - 3rd gear change happens at 3100 rpm for the first run through. After it goes through the gears, the shifts occurr at the usual 2100rpm. My assumption that the trani is on it way? Any preventative procedure, to save me a $4000 bill? (maybe a sensor)

how many miles? is the tranny fluid good?

i'd like to think it's a bad sensor or a computer fault...

my brand new honda does that too, after the oil warmed up, it shifts faster, keep in mind, rx is awd, all fluids are thicker when cold, if i were you i'd cange oil and filter first, see if that helps, before you start changing sensors.
