Hello I have a puzzling problem. Not a mechanic, but not a n00b either.
I have a 1994 Buick LeSabre, v-6 3800 with A/C.
To start with I had had no problems until I changed the starter. When I put the heat on now all I get is cold air. the blower works fine low to high and the temp led gauge moves from 60 to 90 degrees (it's at 90) I get a burst of heat if I use the defogger button, but then goes back to cold.
The heater hoses are hot going into and out of the firewall. The radiator is full and since the heater hoses are hot I am assuming that the thermostat is working. I have checked for vacuum leaks and cannot find any issues with the hoses.
The only thing I did was disconnect the battery to install the new starter. :werd: Any suggestions on what to do next ?
