Guys, the blinker turn signal lights decide to stop working on my 96 Buick Century. I know I have to check the fuse but were is located the flasher for the blinkers in this car?

I read some were that this car use 2 flashers and that one is located on the fuse box and the other is located under the glove box. Any recomendations, pics, part number, etc

the fuse box flasher is most likely the signal flasher but not the girlie flasher

I'm not sure why, but there's a collar in the steering column that only lasts about exactly 10 years under normal use.

I'd guess it's that, if so $220 or so to replace (not worth repairing).

Contacts wear off, I'll take a pic of mine if I can. (I have the original still)

1993 Cutlass Supreme broke in 2004 and 1995 Grand Prix broke in 2006, you're due this year with a 1996.

Try pushing the lever up too high or low and see if it works.

I'm also guessing it's the one located in the fuse box.

Pull the one in the fuse box out, if the Hazard flashers stop working then thats the one for the Hazard flashers. Its around the colum or in the fuse box. Almost always. Putting it any further away would cost car manufacturers more money on wire and they just won't have that. Also the owner's manual may say where its located at.

If the lights come on but don't blink I'd say yes it is the flasher but if they don't come on at all it may be the turn signal switch. Also check to see if the brake lights are working, if they aren't its definitely the turn signal switch.

it is attached to a steereng column, looks like a aluminium cylinder, it casts around $5.
there is another one just like it for hazard lights, it is also located near sterring column, but not clamped to it like turn blinker is.

they never(i have not seen it), lokated in the fuse box, what you see in a fuse box is a delayed action curcit brakers, and relays.
