Hi if anyone has seen or heard of a cool way to up the power output to the back wheels on a VS stock standard ute, drop us a line.

Have you looked at the available options for your vehicle? An air intake will free up a few ponies and get you a little better gas mileage.

Im not sure on HOLDENS being the stupid company named GM here wont import any except the damn monaro. It should have a LS2 motor in it correct? you should be able to check out HSV.au.com (O I think thats the right address) to give you an idea of the cost, granted HOLDEN will be higher but atleast it might be good for a part number or general Idea.

I take it that you ute is the 3.8lt pushrod V6. (LS1-2 wasnt available untill VT series II onward). The best way is to get yourself a SS induction kit, the brand 'SS' not the vehicle. You can get them at auto shops like autobarn.

I'd say the best air intake mod would be a new air intake :)
definatley ss cold air induction.
i had a vp ss manual and put ss induction in (like ute master said ss the brand not the car)
the faster you go the colder your engine gets basically
