I have A 1976 chevrolet 3/4 ton 4 wheel drive pick up. I am putting A flat bed on it, I am wanting to relocate the gas tank from outside of the frame on the passenger side, to in between the frame for safety reasons. Can anyone tell me if there is A tank that will fit right in there? Preferably as simple as possible. :bump:

I would check into fuel cells, maybe even getting one custom made.

hi there you can use a suburban or blazer tank if you have a donor to get the straps and bracket and crossmember from, a blazer one doesnt hang down as far as a burb one does so you may want a blazer one instead
you will have ot figure out a filler location though
it really isnt worth the trouble theres nothing wrong with having the saddle tank
i am currently looking for a 3/4 or 1 ton 2wd pickup and am looking to sell or trade my 1977 cheyenne longfleet 4x4 pickup it has the original 400sb TSL stamping and 509 casting it runs good, has some rust but its reliable and drives good and straight, is yours for sale possibly ?
pics are available
email me or something if you want to talk about how to do this, or about anything else at all
