Hello,
I have a 06 cobalt SS and was thinking about twin charging it. I have a k03 turbo that a friend gave me after he got a new one. But people are saying that I will lose power from it. Does anyone know if this is true?

The amount of fuel you would have to move into the engine would be pretty immense and not to mention, I think you have to change the compression ratio.
I have only seen one vehicle ever done with a SC and a turbo and the mods were pretty extensive. I don't think it would be worth it.
I would sell the turbo and use the money to get a stage 3 kit.

change the SC pully first. It adds 12% more power.

BTW, the ****s at GM press the factory pully on, so you'll have to remove the SC to put the new pully on.

I got ask, are you fking kidding, pressed on, what a bunch of jackasses, Where is the guy that signed off on that, I am gonna kick him in the newts...
I have seen only one car with the Supercharger and turbo set up, it was in a 1967 Chevy II, very cool looking...that was in carcarft like ten years ago but the car is well known. I saw it at Super Chevy Weekend a few years back and I missed the guy, I got pics somewheres...I wouldnt put the turbo on there. I would sell it and move on...

Get a real car! No just kidding, you'll have a good 0-60 after your done. get flow master exhaust and a k&N system and the sc pulley. turbos and superchargers are bad for your motor, unless you want to rip apart your motor and replace the main bearings and cam shaft and on a front wheel drive cobalt your looking at a 36 hour job there.
