I am removing the striping from an old police car, problem is that the striping was there for a couple of years, so it is still noticable what the words were. What is the easiest/cheapest way for me to make it that you cant see the words anymore? I dont care if you can tell that something is being coverd up, as long as you cant see the exact words.

It sounds like the paint might be faded. If that's the case you can try buffing it. If not you'd need a repaint.

I did a great job on the ol Typhoon decals when the truck was white. High pressure hose in a do it your self wash the truck stall = no stickers. :rotf:
