OK I have a 93 Dodge Stealth, it is (was) a great car. I was driving it one day and all of the sudden the temperature shot up and the car stalled. I pulled over and water was pouring out of the car. I had it towed home and put water in it to see where it was coming from. The water pump. Bought a new, replaced, put more water in it. I let it idle for about an hour, nothing. Drove it down the road about 5 miles, nothing. On the way home, the temperature gauge shot up and i had to limp it home. I cannot find out why the crap it keeps losing water. All of the hoses are good, the radiator is good etc. It cranks and idles just fine but if you go to drive it, no dice. anyone have any suggestions? :angryfire

A little help on the engine it has.. have you pulled out the plugs and cheked for water passing the head gaskets or a leaking intake better yet a pressure test of the cooling system should narrow it right down.

Good luck!

I have a 92 stealth and one day i was also driving along and same thing happened turns out the water pump had cracked this is not a major problem just an expensive one simply replace your hoses and pump and make sure that it is good check your radiator or do what i did and get cold air intake and a VERY VERY high performance pump sounds a little over the top but not only did it fix my overheat problem it also gave me and exra 40 or so horse power

I have a 95 dodge stealth and something close happend to mine. My radiator fans were not kicking on at all. It ends up that all the wires under the fuse box were all melted together. I taped each one with electrical tape and the fans kicked right on. Another weird thing is my left radiator fan only turns on when the a/c is on... good luck
