I was reading about a surge performance chip on ebay link (http://stores.ebay.com/Surge-Performance-Module-Store). Do these things really work? Is there any danger or possibility to hurt your car if you install one of these? Will it work on a hybrid car?

Nevermind. i got in contact with the ebay seller, and he told me these won't work for the hybrids. I'm still curious as to whether or not these actually work and/or could cause the car damage. I'd consider one for my wifes car if it was safe and actually helped.

those things just lean out your car.... Moreover they corrode over a few short years and thats when you get weird ass problems.. they're worth nothing..
