When I switch to 4 wheel drive and accelerate I hear a sqeeking and a clicking noise. I does not do this in 2 Wheel Drive. Would anyone no what the problem might be? I have checked the fluid in the transfer case.

has the axle ever been submerged in water while off-roading?

you may have an internal problem with the transfer case.

I purchased this as a used truck. I don't think I heard it when I bought it. I have not been off-roading, but would like to. It appears that all the power is working in 4 wheel drive. Just the squeaking noise.
